ALMET, a.s., Company ID: 46505156, registered office at Ležáky 668/3, Hradec Králové, 500 04, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Hradec Králové, Section B, File 673 (hereinafter the “Controller” or “ALMET”), issues this Privacy Policy in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.
1. Purpose of Personal Data Processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
• processing your order and fulfilling the contract,
• communication with customers and handling inquiries,
• bookkeeping and tax obligations,
• sending commercial communications and newsletters (if you have given consent),
• improving our services and analyzing website traffic,
• fulfilling legal obligations.
2. Scope of Processed Data
We process in particular the following personal data:
• first name and surname,
• e-mail address,
• phone number,
• billing and delivery address,
• IP address,
• cookies,
• order history,
• information regarding consent to personal data processing and Terms & Conditions.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data processing is carried out on the basis of:
• performance of a contract (purchase of goods),
• compliance with legal obligations (accounting, taxes),
• the Controller’s legitimate interest (marketing to existing customers),
• consent of the data subject (newsletters, marketing).
4. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties
Personal data may be transferred only to trusted partners who help us operate the e-shop and process your orders. These include the following categories of recipients:
• carriers: Česká pošta, PPL, Balíkovna,
• payment service providers: ComGate, banking institutions,
• e-mailing service providers: Upgates, Ecomail,
• providers of analytics and marketing tools: Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Heureka, Google Ads, Sklik,
• IT service providers and website administrators.
All processors handle personal data in compliance with GDPR and have valid data processing agreements in place.
5. Data Retention Period
Personal data is stored for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently for 5 years after its termination, unless legal regulations require a longer retention period.
Data processed for marketing purposes is stored for the duration of the granted consent, but no longer than 3 years.
6. Sending Commercial Communications
Commercial communications are sent to customers who have made a purchase from us, based on a legitimate interest under Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services.
Each e-mail contains an option to easily unsubscribe.
Customers who explicitly opted in (e.g., via a form) receive newsletters based on their consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
7. Cookies and Analytical Tools
We use cookies to measure traffic, personalize content and advertising, and analyze user behavior.
We use services such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Heureka, Google Ads, and Sklik.

8. Rights of Data Subjects
You have the right to:
• access your personal data,
• rectify or erase your data,
• restrict processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing,
• withdraw your consent to data processing.
If you believe your data is being handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).

10. Final Provisions
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, especially due to legislative changes or changes in personal data processing. The current version is always available on the ALMET e-shop website.
